About Accessoire
Launched in France in 1976, Accessoire embraces the idea that shoes are essential accessories to fashion. Designer Avril Gau began her career creating shoes for Robert Clergerie and then spent seven years overseeing the the shoe collections at Chanel. She has also collaborated with designers Isabel Marant, Stephane Kelian, Ventilo and Loewe. Today she designs for Accessoire, creating sleek and sophisticated styles that speak to the needs of working women. Always classic, chic and never “too much,” Accessoire shoes express a distinctly French approach to fashion.
