Originally educated as an architect, Rafi Balouzian and his son, Ari, create incredibly comfortable and timeless styles by HAND (it's true!!!) in their family owned factory in Burbank, California, from 100% vegetable-tanned Italian leathers and water-based glues. Each style is hand-cut, lasted, sewn, sculpted, polished, and inspected for topnotch Cydwoq quality. The Classic collection represents old-school Cydwoq concepts, with styles that usually offer a slightly wider fit than the shoes and boots in the Vintage collection. Like good friends, all Cydwoqs soften, stretch and conform to your individual feet with wear, resulting in years of enjoyment. People often buy one pair and then become Cydwoq addicts!! |

Handmade in California. "Go with the flow" takes on new meaning when you drink in the fluid lines of Cydwoq's new Recent! Such a cool cat, this slip-on is crafted from exquisite grey leather that grows darker with age—like an ever-evolving work of art! We especially love how the curving grey-brown inset on the toe is mirrored by one that snakes down the back of the heel! Two offset buttons are attached by an elastic stitch that both accents the design and makes getting in and out of the Recent a cinch. So easy to wear, the 100% leather construction becomes even more comfortable over time. Meanwhile, rubber under the heel and toe mean you can saunter around town with nary a slip. The Recent is always the shoe of the moment!
