Originally educated as an architect, Rafi Balouzian and his son, Ari, create incredibly comfortable and timeless styles by HAND (it's true!!!) in their family owned factory in Burbank, California, from 100% vegetable-tanned Italian leathers and water-based glues. Each style is hand-cut, lasted, sewn, sculpted, polished, and inspected for topnotch Cydwoq quality. The Vintage collection is lightweight and a bit dressier than the Classic collection. Like good friends, all Cydwoqs soften, stretch and conform to your feet with wear--we promise these shoes will become your favorites for years to come. |

Handmade in California. Needless to say, we see a lot of shoes, but Cydwoq's new Orient literally stopped us in our tracks! A wearable work of art, this zen slip-on mule blew us away with its knit, yes, knit leather upper!! The process to create this beauty is labor-intensive but the result is well worth it! And the Orient is as comfortable and lightweight as it is striking! Imagine a knit leather sock massaging your feet! As always, Cydwoq's all-leather construction just gets better with age, and rubber on the heel keeps your footing sure. Now the big question...what color or both? Slide into the Orient and take off in a new direction, one where you'll encounter oohs and aahs at every turn!
