Although Laura plunged into the work world intending to pursue academics
(if you need Sanskrit translated, she’s your gal), for the past 15 years her bread and butter has been writing, editing, and marketing. She’s swum in the deep end of
many areas of publishing, with extensive experience as a book editor, magazine editor, and freelance writer.
In addition, she has a background in art and graphic design. |

Laura brings to Ped a flair for developing effective marketing strategies that convey an individual
company’s personality and priorities. Having assisted numerous organizations with effective messaging, she understands the importance of communicating
spirit as well as content in establishing an identity in the marketplace.
In her off hours, Laura is a lover of travel, fashion, art, and film
(not to mention dogs and the occasional bad TV show). You’re most likely to spot her wearing a sassy pair of Cydwoq shoes at a gallery opening or a film
screening when she’s not brainstorming creative ways to spread the Ped love. |
