The twice-dyed leather is hand-nailed to an alder wood sole, which gently slopes from 1.5" in back to .5" up front. The footbed is hand-cut and sanded to create contours that beautifully conform to the shape of your foot. Below, Trippen curves the bottom to rock with the rolling motion of your natural stride—ingenious! Spicing up this easy package, the sea-green rubber under the heel and forefoot echos the colorful edges of the upper's algae leather.
