Coclico is named for the poppy flowers, coquelicots, that blanket the countryside of Brittany, the childhood home of company founder, Sandra Canselier. Following in the footsteps of three generations of shoemakers, she started Coclico in 2000 and later teamed up with designer Lisa Nading (of Lisa Nading Designs and Gentle Souls) to create footwear that achieves a wonderful harmony between style and comfort—but always with an eye to environmental responsibility. Coclico is committed to using materials and manufacturing processes that are eco-conscious. Every shoe, boot, and sandal produced is a reflection of the company's namesake, infused with feminity, playfulness, and effortless style. |

Made in Spain. I am personally in love with Coclico's Rilke bootie! (Hah, maybe I should marry it—but Terry might think otherwise.) Made of incredibly soft grey suede, the design is subtle and seductive. Plus the Rilke is super lightweight, and the inside zipper makes it easy-on, easy-off! The 1" wedge adds just a bit of height, but the footbed remains delightfully flexible. A few stitches here and there add just the right spice, plus the tie in back gives the people behind you something to see! The leather lining and padded footbed offers your sole a luxurious ride, while rubber on the outsole lets you bound around town with abandon!
