Originally educated as an architect, Rafi Balouzian and his son, Ari, create incredibly comfortable and timeless styles by HAND (it's true!!!) in their family owned factory in Burbank, California, from 100% vegetable-tanned Italian leathers and water-based glues. Each style is hand-cut, lasted, sewn, sculpted, polished, and inspected for topnotch Cydwoq quality. The Classic collection represents old-school Cydwoq concepts, with styles that usually offer a slightly wider fit than the shoes and boots in the Vintage collection. Like good friends, all Cydwoqs soften, stretch and conform to your individual feet with wear, resulting in years of enjoyment. People often buy one pair and then become Cydwoq addicts!! |

Handmade in California. Cydwoq's new Rocket is well-named because we took one look and—zoom!—we were over the moon! A modern variation on the classic mary jane, the Rocket is crafted from waxed Italian leather in a golden shade of turmeric (see also the Mud Doctor, the Malba and the Cedar bag—we just can't get enough of this sunny leather)! We love the sweet detailing over the rounded toe—check out the overhead view to fully appreciate its cuteness! The silver rivet up front is echoed by the adjustable one that secures the strap over the instep. Comfortable right out of the box, this all-leather charmer only gets better with wear—so wear it everywhere! Rubber under the heel lets you jet around town in the Rocket, style engines ablaze!
