Originally educated as an architect, Rafi Balouzian and his son, Ari, create incredibly comfortable and timeless styles by HAND (it's true!!!) in their family owned factory in Burbank, California, from 100% vegetable-tanned Italian leathers and water-based glues. Each style is hand-cut, lasted, sewn, sculpted, polished, and inspected for topnotch Cydwoq quality. The Classic collection represents old-school Cydwoq concepts, with styles that usually offer a slightly wider fit than the shoes and boots in the Vintage collection. Like good friends, all Cydwoqs soften, stretch and conform to your individual feet with wear, resulting in years of enjoyment. People often buy one pair and then become Cydwoq addicts!! |

Handmade in California. We are crazy in love with all the vintage-inspired oxfords this season! Cydwoq's Classic Oxford has been a hot number in the men's collection for years, and, as we so often do, we thought, "Hey, this style would be fabulous for women!" So, Rafi indulged us by whipping one up for us gals! This great lace-comes in either a brown and tan "spectator"-style leather combo or an "aging" black leather, which means with wear, it takes on a brown patina that looks especially beautiful with the natural seam edges and laces. But if you prefer your shoes to stay truly black, a little black polish will do the trick! Personally, we adore the worn-in look—age is beauty! Whichever winning version you choose, rubber under the heel and toe will let you dash from here to there! Comfy from day one, the Classic Oxford is destined to become your go-to favorite!
