Handmade in Sweden and Italy. Swedish Hasbeens takes the classic clog--which, let's face it, we all adore for its comfort--and gives it a sophisticated style makeover! Gone is the ugly-duckling frumpiness in favor of swan-like chicness. Crafted from sustainably harvested lime-wood, the heel is higher at 3.25", but it's still a cinch to wear, thanks to the .75" lift up front. The upper is cut more gracefully, and its details are kept artistically minimal to complement the beautifully saturated hues of the vegetable-dyed leather. Although the leather may feel stiff at first, it quickly softens and ages wonderfully, giving your feet a comfy home for years to come. Rubber on the outsole means when you wear these slides, you don't have to worry about slips. Not your mama's clog of yesteryear, Swedish Hasbeens' updated version is a thoroughly modern mule for the 21st century! Whole sizes only, so size up if you're in between.
