Sophie Digard Jardin Bag in Summer

Sophie travels much of the year from France to Madagascar to train local artisans to crochet her stunning scarves and raffia bag designs. Raffia palms are a result of about twenty species of palms native to tropical regions of Africa, and especially Madagascar. This raffia bag is crocheted by hand and all the applications one of a kind. The similar floral design is reflective on the the front and back. This Jardin Bag has 27 (!) thick stems with three dimensional raffia blooms and linen pods on each side in a variety of colors including mustard, mocha, rust sage, olive, taupe and natural. Organic and outstanding hand work! Dimensions: 15"L x 10.5"H x 4.5"W. Shoulder drop is 9" and interior has a pocket and tie top. 100% raffia.
