Yes and no. If Ped lowers the price on a full-price item you've purchased, we are happy to offer a one-time price adjustment within 14 days of your order's receipt. Please be aware price adjustments are only refunded as Ped store credit. (What will you buy next?) Unfortunately, items already on sale are not eligible for price adjustments.
Because Ped is a small online boutique, we often have only one pair of shoes in each size. For this reason, we ask you to please limit your order with us to a maximum value of $800 USD. Questions about which size would work best for you in a style? Give us a call, and we'll help you choose wisely!
For orders shipped within the lower 48 United States, Ped offers free shipping for your entire order, if the order total is $250 or more. If you're in a hurry to get your goods, Ped also offers 3-day, 2-day and Overnight shipping. Our expedited rates are posted at checkout. If you choose to return your merchandise, Ped will deduct the original cost of shipping from your refund, to cover some of the shipping, merchant processing and overhead costs associated with your order. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable.
Because we physically import all our shoes from (primarily) Europe, there is always the chance for damage to the shoe boxes while in transit. As a result, it is sometimes possible that we will not have a shoe box to send with your order (but don't worry, the shoes are always inspected for damage and returned to the manufacturer if any exists!). In this case we take extra care to pack your shoes carefully in an alternate shipping container, but be aware that it's possible you might not receive a manufacturer's shoe box with your order.
Ped's happy warehouse staff ships orders daily, Monday-Thursday. Orders placed after noon PST will go out the next shipping day.
Yes! A tracking number is sent to the email address you provide as soon as your order leaves the warehouse, and all Ped packages are insured.
If your order's original value is $500 or more (for sale items, look to the pre-sale price), we might require a signature for delivery, which protects both you and us! Since you are responsible for having someone sign for your order, please follow the UPS or US Postal Service tracking number, which you'll receive by email when your order ships. Also, please notify us immediately if you need to change your shipping address.
Well, that's no fun for anyone! Both UPS and the US Post Service typically make 3 earnest delivery attempts before a package is deemed "undeliverable." If an "undeliverable" order comes back to Ped, OR if you refuse your shipment, we charge a 15% restocking fee -- deducted from your refund -- plus the actual shipping and return costs. So, to avoid heartbreak and additional expense, please check and double-check that you enter your shipping address correctly. Delivered deliveries -- that's what we like!
Yes. If necessary, the UPS Address Correction Fee for fixing improperly entered addresses is $14, which will be added to your order's total. We promise (pinky swear!) that we will print the address on your shipping label exactly as you enter it during checkout. So type carefully!
UPS makes a delivery guarantee for expedited shipping. While they almost always deliver, sometimes there is a problem. If the reason is not excluded by UPS, then we will refund your shipping costs. If it's excluded by UPS, it's out of their control and as such we can't offer any refunds.
Oui, Si, Ja, Da, Hai -- which is all to say, Yes! Ped will gladly ship your order anywhere in the world! We ship internationally via US Postal Service Express Mail and charge only the quoted shipping price. Your shipment will be insured, include a tracking number, and typically arrive in one week. The US Postal Service (www.usps.com) will email you the tracking number as soon as your package leaves the Ped warehouse (typically 2-3 business days after you place the order). Please be aware we only ship to your card's billing address for international orders.
International shipping charges range between $50 and $90 USD, depending upon your order's merchandise, weight, value and destination. Because of these variables, we calculate and add the international shipping charge to your total after you place your order. If your order's shipping cost exceeds the normal range, we will contact you by email. If it does not exceed this price range, we will not contact you, but simply add the shipping costs to your total.
All international customers are responsible for any applicable duties, VAT, or additional fees their Ped order may entail. Unfortunately, Ped cannot control these fees since they are set by the government of your country of residence. If you're concerned, please ask your postal service or import office about these rates and whether they apply to your order.

After you've received your order, if you have an issue with size, color, or anything else, please email or call us, so we can hold the item you want as an exchange. Refunds are processed in 1-5 business days from receipt of your return at the Ped warehouse, but please know it can take up to a billing cycle for the credit to appear on your account.
If you prefer a refund, Ped will deduct the original cost of shipping from your refund to cover some of the shipping, merchant processing and overhead costs associated with your order. Returns postmarked after 14 days will be charged a 15% restocking fee. Please note we accept no returns after 30 days. We know you're not a procrastinator, but Ped's items are seasonal and limited in stock, so it helps if you get returns back to us as soon as possible!
We suspect you know the answer is no. Any items that have been worn or used cannot be returned to Ped unless there is a manufacturer's defect. The best way to avoid an accidental scuff or scratch? Always, always try shoes on inside on either a carpet or a towel.
It's a cinch! For shoes and boots, repack your item, using the original packaging materials, in the manufacturer's shoebox in which it arrived. Place the shoebox inside the shipping carton (please do not use shoe box as the shipping container), and send it back to Ped at the address below (Please note, though, that all items marked 20% off can be returned for exchange or store credit only. Items discounted more than 20% are final sale). Returned items (including manufacturer packaging) must be in brand spanking new condition when we receive them. Alas, improperly shipped items will incur a 15% restocking fee. (But we know you won't do that, right?) We recommend shipping via UPS, the US Postal Service or Federal Express, all of which are very reliable! Finally, please email your return's tracking number to email@example.com.
