Sophie travels much of the year from France to Madagascar to train local artisans to crochet her stunning scarves and raffia bag designs. The raffia palms are a result of about twenty species of palms native to tropical regions of Africa, especially in Madagascar. This raffia bag is crocheted by hand and the crochet flower designs are one of a kind. This Vine Bag has dozens of vines and colorful blooms crocheted into the bag design on both sides -- looks like needlepoint at it's finest! The colors include a natural base with sage, olive, mustard, mocha, grey orange, lavender, plum, chocolate, olive, pink and salmon. Dimensions: 15"L x 10.5"H x 4.5"W. Shoulder drop is 9" and interior has a pocket and tie top. 100% raffia.
