Alchimia began in 1965 as a family business in Italy and now is run by the third generation, brother and sister team, Giacomo and Beatrice. Based in beautiful Bologna, the passion for craftsmanship and quality comes from creating with care and attention to detail and timeless design. Alchimias philosophy is entirely Italian, starting from the in-house design, the research of raw materials including all leathers, nylon (same as Prada!), cotton linings and hardware as well as the manufacturing process with all the bags being made in Bologna, Italy. Ped is proud to be one of the few retailers to import these stunning bags and wallets to the United States.
